Job Summary

To provide overnight call coverage for inpatient psychiatric care, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Physician Assistant will manage clinical calls remotely, respond to urgent patient needs, and ensure timely onsite evaluations when necessary.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overnight clinical call coverage for patients receiving inpatient psychiatric care
• Respond to nursing staff calls regarding patient assessments and urgent care needs
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient safety and continuity of care

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• BC/BE through NCCPA and licensed or eligible for licensure in Minnesota
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for Minnesota
• PMHNP certification required
• Prior experience as an advanced practice provider in an inpatient psychiatric setting strongly preferred
