Job Summary
To support complex regulatory compliance efforts, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Principal Investigator will plan, oversee, and support cultural resources investigations, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a firmwide subject matter expert on cultural resources compliance and provide strategic direction to project teams
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations while overseeing field investigations and technical report preparation
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering technical growth and maintaining high standards of scientific rigor and regulatory defensibility
Required qualifications:
- Graduate degree (e.g., M.A, M.S, or Ph.D.) in archaeology, anthropology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
- 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in Section 106/110 Compliance
- Experience in cultural resource management in the Midwest or South
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring others
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, including participation in professional organizations
