Minnesota Licensed Project Accountant
Job Summary
To support project financial management, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Project Accountant will handle billing, revenue recognition, and reconciliation duties while collaborating with Client Services Event Managers in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project journal entries and ensure compliance with GAAP revenue recognition guidelines
- Assist with month-end close activities, including reviewing project financial statements and working capital summaries
- Contribute to revenue analyses and implement process improvements for the revenue accounting function
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- 3-5 years of comprehensive experience in project accounting
- CPA (active or inactive) preferred
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including pivots and v/h-lookups
- Financial expertise in POC billing and GAAP ASC606 revenue recognition
