Minnesota Licensed Stroke Neurologist

Job Summary

To support a leading neuroscience institute, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Stroke Neurologist will provide expert care for stroke patients, manage neurological emergencies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, while working remotely and on-site at various top-tier hospitals in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for neurological emergencies and stroke patients, utilizing vascular neurology expertise
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient health outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and coordinate care based on comprehensive patient assessments

Required qualifications

• Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in Neurology
• Fellowship training in Stroke Neurology preferred, or relevant Stroke Program experience
• Licensed Physician in Minnesota and Wisconsin upon hire, with appropriate certifications (ACLS/BLS, DEA, etc.)
• Telemedicine experience preferred
