Job Summary
To support various industrial and commercial projects, the remote Mississippi Licensed Combo Welder will perform code-compliant welds using multiple welding processes, read technical drawings, and maintain a safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Observe and adjust welding parameters to ensure quality and compliance during the welding process
- Read and interpret weld symbols, procedures, and mechanical drawings
- Operate fabrication tools and equipment, including band saws, forklifts, and overhead cranes, while adhering to safety regulations
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 4-5 years of welding experience
- Ability to pass a welding qualification test in FCAW and GMAW processes
- Experience with SMAW and GTAW welding processes in the 6G position
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices
- Proficiency in using Oxy/fuel and Plasma hand cutting torches
