Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary

To provide direct patient care, the full-time Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse will perform duties such as IV therapy and assist ancillary nursing staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for effective patient care through data gathering, planning, and evaluation
• Communicates professionally with patients, families, and team members to ensure a quality patient experience
• Maintains required clinical knowledge and skills while adapting to changing unit needs

Required qualifications

• Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred IV therapy credentials
• No prior work experience required
