Mississippi Licensed Technology Director
Job Summary
Directing the technical architecture and cybersecurity strategy, the full-time Mississippi Licensed Technology Director will oversee the implementation and operation of a statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE) while managing integration delivery and ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy regulations, with remote work available within specified locations and required travel.
Key responsibilities
- Own the platform architecture, cybersecurity strategy, and interoperability roadmap
- Oversee implementation partners and vendors, reviewing designs, dependencies, and security controls
- Guide integration testing, deployment readiness, and technical escalation resolution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, health informatics, or a related field
- 12+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, healthcare integration, and cybersecurity oversight
- Experience securing cloud environments and protecting sensitive health information
- Strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, APIs, EHR interoperability, and identity management
- Ability to evaluate technical designs and communicate security risks to executives
