Job Summary
To support a locally owned in-home care agency, a Missouri Licensed Accountant will manage the books on a contract basis, working remotely for approximately 10 to 15 hours per month, including tasks such as monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Close the books in QuickBooks Online each month, including bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare a monthly profit and loss statement and review it with the owners
- Follow up on client invoices and ensure payroll and tax filings are accurate
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience for small businesses
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Experience with payroll processing using Gusto or a similar platform
- Residency in Missouri
- A clean criminal background, subject to a background check
