Job Summary
To support a growing telepsychiatry practice, the remote Missouri Licensed Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat patients with serious mental illness and substance use disorders, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth-based psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment plans
- Manage medication and follow-up care for high-risk patients while ensuring connections to community mental health services
- Act as a behavioral health consultant within an interdisciplinary team, facilitating care continuity and education
Required qualifications:
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority
- Experience managing complex psychiatric conditions and/or substance use disorders
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure
- Comfort delivering care via telehealth and technology-enabled platforms
