Job Summary
To enhance database operations, the full-time remote Missouri Licensed Database Administrator will collaborate with senior staff to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable database platforms, while promoting developer autonomy and optimizing performance across cloud and on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement database solutions, ensuring security, compliance, and operational efficiency
- Monitor and optimize database health, performance, and availability, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve business outcomes through automation and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in DBMS administration with SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- 3+ years of experience with operating systems such as UNIX, Linux, or Windows
- Experience with shell scripting
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud and CI/CD processes
