Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Remote Disability Specialist (Advocate) will serve as a dedicated advocate for health plan members, managing communication and application processes through the Social Security disability system while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for health plan members, providing support and clarifying complex information
• Manage relationships with medical providers and government agencies to ensure timely application processing
• Gather and submit necessary documentation for disability applications while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and company policies

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or related fields such as social services or case management
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
• Strong attention to detail and goal-driven mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to navigate multiple software systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, structured environment
