Missouri Licensed Entomology Scientist
Job Summary
Supporting product development for outdoor insect control products, the full-time Missouri Licensed Entomology Scientist will conduct lab and field trials, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage data while primarily working onsite in Earth City, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality lab and field trials, maintaining excellent records and participating in new product development
- Work with common urban and outdoor pest insects, ensuring safety while preparing and administering experimental chemical treatments
- Collaborate with entomology and R&D colleagues to support cross-functional project teams with technical insights
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree in Entomology, Agricultural Sciences, or related field, or a bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience conducting entomological assays on insect control products in an industry setting
- Familiarity with data management for lab and field data
- Understanding of urban, medical, or veterinary entomology is a plus
- Preference for candidates with applied research experience
