Job Summary
To enhance the quality of foot care delivery, the fully remote Podiatry Collaborating Physician will serve as a collaborating physician for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in Missouri, focusing on training, compliance audits, and support for APRNs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the collaborating physician for APRNs providing foot care services
- Assist in the training and development of APRNs as directed by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Podiatry
- Conduct monthly audits of at least 10% of APRN charts to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree required
- Current and valid medical license to practice in Missouri and potentially other states
- Experience in a collaborative practice environment
- Ability to mentor and train healthcare professionals effectively
- Knowledge of compliance standards and auditing processes in healthcare
