Job Summary
Providing assistant controller-level support to healthcare clients, the full-time Missouri Licensed Senior Accountant will manage financial reporting accuracy, assist with complex general ledgers, and prepare monthly reporting packages while working remotely from anywhere in the US.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial reporting accuracy for assigned clients
- Assist with complex general ledgers and ensure overall accuracy through identifying missing transactions and trends
- Prepare and finalize month-end close and review balance sheets for accuracy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience focused on financial reporting and general ledger management
- Experience with full cycle accounting in the healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
