Job Summary

To support effective patient care and safety, the full-time Missouri Licensed Utilization Review Nurse will manage inpatient care management processes remotely, ensuring quality and financial components are optimized through collaboration and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the Mercy Care Management model for assigned inpatient populations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient throughput and care coordination
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure adherence to best practices

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current nursing license in the state of residence and/or employment
• 2-3 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient medical information
• Advanced computer skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
