ML Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To build the infrastructure for next-generation intelligent applications, the remote ML Platform Engineer will architect and implement scalable backend systems, develop data processing pipelines, and manage AWS infrastructure while collaborating with AI and machine learning professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend infrastructure for ML workflows and production model execution
• Develop reliable Python-based batch and streaming pipelines for large dataset processing across cloud environments
• Manage AWS infrastructure, deployment automation, and CI/CD workflows using infrastructure as code

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in Python backend development and production data engineering
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services, including S3 and IAM, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CDK
• Proven ability to build and manage ML data workflows, including dataset construction and versioning
• Experience with CI/CD, production monitoring, and cloud cost management
• Self-directed engineering mindset with the ability to design technical systems independently
