Mobile Developer - Android
Job Summary
To support the Mobile App Growth team, the full-time Mobile Developer - Android will design, build, and ship features for the Android SDK, contribute to other mobile SDKs, and assist with backend services, all while working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship features and fixes to the Android SDK used across various third-party apps
- Contribute to other mobile SDKs (iOS, React Native, Expo, and Flutter) as needed
- Diagnose and resolve SDK issues reported by customers while collaborating with product and engineering teams
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional Android development experience, ideally with Kotlin
- Experience shipping and maintaining production Android code with a solid understanding of the Android lifecycle
- Familiarity with testing practices (unit, integration, instrumentation) and CI/CD for mobile
- Willingness to adapt and work on iOS, backend, or frontend tasks as required
- Experience debugging across a wide range of devices, OS versions, and third-party app environments
