Job Summary
Leading a team of mobile engineers, the full-time Senior Engineering Manager will mentor and manage a group focused on developing financial tools for mobile platforms, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 13 engineers specializing in Android and iOS development
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design leaders to influence product roadmaps and enhance mobile solutions
- Serve as a liaison between mobile and other engineering teams, translating technical constraints and opportunities effectively
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering management experience leading mobile and/or web engineering teams
- Strong technical expertise in both iOS and Android development
- Familiarity with mobile development stacks, specifically Kotlin for Android and Swift/RxSwift for iOS
- Experience in building and launching new products with a product-minded approach
- Proven ability to develop engineers and create clear advancement paths within teams
