Job Summary
To build and lead a new mobile engineering team, the full-time Mobile Engineering Manager will combine technical leadership with people management, focusing on developing a high-performance culture while overseeing the mobile app experience for retirement account management, all in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit and develop a team of mobile engineers, fostering collaboration across iOS, Android, and cross-platform disciplines
- Drive the execution of mobile roadmaps, ensuring a seamless app experience for both employees and company administrators
- Oversee release engineering practices, including pipeline management and cross-device QA verification
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams with a focus on mobile application delivery
- Proven track record of shipping production mobile apps across multiple store release cycles
- Experience managing complex, multi-persona mobile applications is a strong plus
- Deep technical background in mobile software engineering (Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Flutter)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
