Defining the hardware platform strategy for an innovative AI-native phone, the full-time Mobile SoC Architect will evaluate mobile SoC platforms, establish hardware specifications, and collaborate with ODMs to ensure the hardware meets current and future AI capabilities in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define the overall hardware platform strategy and roadmap for the AI-native phone
- Evaluate and compare mobile SoC platforms and define hardware specifications for AI-native features
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to translate future AI capabilities into hardware requirements
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in smartphone hardware architecture and mobile SoC engineering
- Deep understanding of mobile SoC architecture, including CPU, GPU, and NPU
- Experience evaluating and selecting smartphone hardware platforms
- Understanding of power architecture and thermal management in mobile devices
- Experience working directly with ODM/OEM and chipset vendors
