Model-Based Mission Engineering Expert

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Model-Based Mission Engineering Subject Matter Expert to develop innovative, model-centric solutions for complex defense systems and mission environments, working remotely while transforming legacy mission architecture into dynamic digital models for enhanced decision-making and interoperability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and manage mission, operational, system, interface, and cybersecurity requirements throughout their lifecycle
• Create and maintain mission engineering architectures and model-based artifacts that link operational scenarios with systems and data sources
• Utilize MBSE tools, SysML, and UAF to support mission engineering analysis and decision-making through comprehensive modeling

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10-12 years, Master's degree with 8-10 years, or PhD with 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in Dassault Syst mes Cameo Systems Modeler, SysML, and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
• Experience in mission engineering, operational architecture development, and modeling and simulation, especially in LVC environments
• Familiarity with DoD, Navy, or other defense mission environments is preferred
• Must possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance
