Molecular Pathologist - FL Licensed

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the remote Molecular Pathologist - FL Licensed will interpret molecular results, manage quality control procedures, and provide expert consultation on pathology matters while being available for client interactions on a full-time basis, including weekends.

Key responsibilities:

• Performs interpretation of molecular results and oversees the electronic release of reviewed cases
• Conducts quality control and assurance procedures and engages in departmental quality activities
• Interacts with clients for Pre-Analytical, Analytical, and Post-Analytical questions, ensuring high standards of service

Required qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required; M.D/Ph.D. or Ph.D. preferred
• Board certification or eligibility in Molecular Genetics Pathology or Medical Genetics
• Active unrestricted Medical License to practice in FL, TX, or CA, or eligibility for one
• At least two years of experience signing out Molecular Oncology cases with NGS
• Proven experience with an automated laboratory information system (LIS)
