Job Summary
To support database management needs, the full-time MongoDB DBA - Georgia Licensed will deploy, manage, and optimize MongoDB databases on Oracle Linux systems in a remote environment, ensuring high availability and performance across on-prem and cloud setups.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain MongoDB databases on Oracle Linux servers, including OS-level tuning
- Deploy and manage MongoDB clusters, including replication topologies and sharded clusters
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries while implementing backup and recovery strategies
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in MongoDB administration
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Linux/Unix systems
- Knowledge of replica sets, sharding, and indexing
- Experience with backup/recovery and performance tuning
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and MongoDB Atlas
