Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter's initiatives, the full-time remote Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will design and implement MEAL systems for impact investment portfolios, ensure data quality and insights, and facilitate learning across regions to enhance support for small and growing businesses in affordable housing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the MEAL framework for the Small and Growing Businesses (SGB) framework and Shelter Venture Fund investments
- Lead data collection, validation, and analysis to support the SGB framework, ensuring integrity in reporting and producing dashboards for stakeholders
- Facilitate learning loops across regions and translate evidence into actionable recommendations for program design and strategic pivots
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Economics, Statistics, Impact Measurement, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEAL roles, particularly in impact investing or enterprise development contexts
- Proven ability to design and implement MEAL systems effectively
