Job Summary

Seeking a Montana Licensed Property Claims Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage an assigned desk of property claims from coverage analysis and investigation through negotiation, resolution, and closure, serving as the primary point of contact for insureds.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct coverage analysis and investigations to determine applicability and document findings
• Manage claims from assignment through closure, evaluating damages and negotiating settlements
• Communicate proactively with insureds, agents, and vendors to enhance customer experience

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of property claims adjusting experience
• Strong understanding of property coverage, policy forms, and claims best practices
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
• Experience with short-term rental or specialty commercial property lines is a plus
• Ability to manage claims independently with minimal supervision
