Montessori Teacher Education Instructor
Job Summary
To support the Montessori Teacher Education Program, a part-time instructor will develop and deliver the Preventative Health for Practices EC course online, focusing on infectious disease prevention, emergency preparedness, and nutrition training while utilizing the Canvas Learning Management System.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and update course syllabi in consultation with the Education Programs Director
- Prepare and deliver online course materials, assessments, and communicate learning objectives to students
- Evaluate student performance, assign grades, and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or related degree
- Professional experience and knowledge related to healthcare and early childhood education
- Commitment to high academic standards and integrity
- Prior university/college teaching experience preferred
- Experience with teaching adult learners and online teaching is advantageous
