Mortgage Escrow Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of taxes and insurance, escrow analysis, and monitoring delinquent taxes, while adhering to RESPA regulations and Pacific Time working hours.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of property taxes and insurance
- Prepare annual and initial escrow analysis statements for impounded loans in compliance with RESPA regulations
- Monitor delinquent taxes and collaborate with vendors and internal departments for timely follow-up and reporting
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or related financial services
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and escrow analysis processes
- Ability to work within Pacific Time hours
- Proficiency in financial research and reconciliation tasks
- Familiarity with property tax and insurance payment processes
