Mortgage Escrow Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage all escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of property taxes and insurance, escrow analysis, and monitoring delinquent taxes, while adhering to RESPA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment disbursement and reconciliation for taxes and insurance
- Prepare annual and initial escrow analysis statements for impounded loans, ensuring compliance with RESPA regulations
- Monitor delinquent tax accounts and collaborate with vendors and internal teams for timely resolution
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or a related financial service role
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and compliance standards
- Familiarity with property tax and insurance payment processes
- Ability to work a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PT)
- Strong research skills related to tax assessments and liabilities
