Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage all escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of taxes and insurance, escrow analysis, and collaboration with various departments to resolve tax-related issues, while adhering to strict schedules and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks including payment of property taxes, insurance, and mortgage insurance for impounded loans
- Prepare annual and initial escrow analysis statements, ensuring compliance with RESPA regulations
- Monitor delinquent taxes and collaborate with vendors and internal teams for timely resolution and reporting
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or related financial services
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and escrow analysis processes
- Ability to work a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PT)
- Proficiency in reconciling and researching financial transactions
- Familiarity with property tax and insurance payment processes
