Mortgage Escrow Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of taxes and insurance, escrow analysis, and collaboration with various departments to resolve tax issues while adhering to RESPA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks, including payment of property taxes and insurance for impounded loans
- Prepare annual and initial escrow analysis statements, ensuring timely and accurate issuance
- Monitor delinquent taxes and collaborate with vendors and internal teams for timely follow-up
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or loan servicing preferred
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with property tax and insurance disbursement processes
- Ability to work a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PT)
- Strong research skills related to tax assessments and liabilities
