Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage all escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of taxes and insurance, escrow analysis, and collaboration with various departments to resolve tax-related issues.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks, including payment of property taxes and insurance, while ensuring compliance with RESPA regulations
- Prepare annual and initial escrow analysis statements for impounded loans, adhering to published schedules
- Monitor delinquent taxes and collaborate with vendors and internal teams for timely resolution of outstanding amounts
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or loan servicing
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in managing financial transactions, including tax and insurance payments
- Ability to work within Pacific Time schedule
- Strong research skills related to tax assessments and liabilities
