Mortgage Escrow Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of taxes and insurance, monitoring delinquent taxes, and preparing annual escrow analysis statements in compliance with regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks, including payment of property taxes and insurance, ensuring timely disbursement and reconciliation
- Prepare annual escrow analysis statements and initial escrow statements for new loans, adhering to RESPA regulations
- Monitor delinquent taxes and collaborate with vendors and internal teams for timely follow-up and reporting
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or loan servicing
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with property tax and insurance payment processes
- Ability to work a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PT)
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines
