Mortgage Escrow Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage all escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of taxes and insurance, monitoring delinquent taxes, and conducting annual escrow analysis while adhering to RESPA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks, including payment of property taxes and insurance for impounded loans
- Prepare annual escrow analysis statements and initial escrow statements for new loans in compliance with regulations
- Monitor delinquent taxes and collaborate with vendors and internal teams for timely follow-up on delinquent amounts
Required qualifications
- Experience in mortgage servicing or escrow management preferred
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and escrow analysis processes
- Ability to work a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PT)
- Proficiency in financial research and analysis related to taxes and insurance
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
