Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage all escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including the payment of property taxes and insurance, while ensuring compliance with RESPA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle escrow tasks such as payment of taxes and insurance, monitoring delinquent taxes, and conducting escrow analyses
- Disburse, reconcile, and research property tax payments for impounded loans to avoid penalties
- Prepare annual and initial escrow analysis statements in compliance with regulations and timelines
Required qualifications
- Experience in mortgage escrow or related financial services
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and escrow analysis processes
- Ability to work with vendors and internal departments to resolve tax and insurance issues
- Familiarity with property tax and insurance payment processes
