Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including payment of property taxes and insurance, while ensuring compliance with RESPA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks, including payment of taxes and insurance, and monitor delinquent taxes
- Prepare and issue annual escrow analysis statements for impounded loans in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with various departments to calculate initial escrow deposits and resolve tax-related issues
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or related financial services
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work on a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PT)
- Familiarity with property tax and insurance payment processes
- Strong research skills related to tax assessments and liability
