Mortgage Escrow Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mortgage Escrow Specialist will manage all escrow-related tasks for loan servicing, including the payment of property taxes and insurance, while ensuring compliance with RESPA regulations and monitoring delinquent taxes.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all escrow-related tasks, including payment of taxes and insurance, and conduct escrow analysis
- Disburse, reconcile, and research payments for property taxes, insurance, and mortgage insurance for impounded loans
- Prepare annual and initial escrow analysis statements, ensuring timely and accurate issuance in compliance with regulations
Required qualifications
- Experience in escrow management or loan servicing
- Knowledge of RESPA regulations and escrow analysis procedures
- Familiarity with property tax and insurance payment processes
- Ability to work on a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PT)
- Proficiency in research and analysis related to tax and insurance matters
