Job Summary
Guiding clients through the unique process of new construction home financing, the full-time Mortgage Loan Originator - SC, NC, TN, GA, VA will consult with borrowers, recommend customized loan solutions, and ensure a seamless experience from application to closing.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with clients to assess financial needs and recommend appropriate mortgage products for new home construction
- Collaborate with real estate agents, home builders, and referral sources to generate new business opportunities
- Assist borrowers through the loan application and approval process, ensuring compliance with builder-specific requirements
Required qualifications
- NMLS License and ability to originate loans in SC, NC, TN, GA, or VA
- 2+ years of recent mortgage origination or sales experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of mortgage programs, underwriting guidelines, and compliance
- Experience with construction loan origination
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
