Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Mortgage Loan Processor will manage the processing of mortgage loans by reviewing applications for accuracy, obtaining necessary documentation, and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Calculates principal, interest, and closing costs while notifying borrowers accordingly
- Prepares mortgage loan files by reviewing applications and obtaining additional information as needed
- Identifies and resolves application and documentation issues by communicating with underwriters and supervisors
Required qualifications
- Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor, or loan officer
- Knowledge of lending terminology and experience communicating with borrowers
- Experience processing conventional, FHA, and VA loans
- Proven customer service ability
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Encompass software
