Mortgage Loan Purchase Specialist

Job Summary

Receiving and purchasing loans from third party lenders, the full-time Mortgage Loan Purchase Specialist will review loans for compliance, communicate with various stakeholders to resolve documentation issues, and ensure timely delivery of loan packages for secondary market sales while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review loans to ensure compliance with bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines
• Communicate with lenders and title companies to resolve outstanding documentation items
• Package and submit government loan files to HUD/VA for insurance and guaranty

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Typically at least one year of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of loan processing, closing, and funding policies and procedures
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data
• Proficient computer navigation skills using various software packages, including Microsoft Office applications
