Mortgage Processor III

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Mortgage Processor III will manage loan applications by maintaining communication with all parties involved, obtaining necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with mortgage guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication with customers, loan officers, realtors, and other stakeholders to facilitate a seamless loan application process
• Obtain and verify processing-related documentation, including employment verification, IRS transcripts, and appraisals
• Monitor and analyze credit reports and income documentation to ensure adherence to product and underwriting guidelines

Required qualifications

• Associates Degree or two years equivalent work experience
• Two to three years prior mortgage processing or underwriting experience
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for evaluating loan applications and fee structures
• Proficiency in PC skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Adobe
• Knowledge of product, investor, and compliance requirements in the mortgage industry
