Mortgage Senior Collector

Job Summary

To support effective loan recovery efforts, the full-time remote Mortgage Senior Collector will manage delinquent accounts, negotiate repayment arrangements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while counseling borrowers on loss mitigation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate proactive contact with delinquent borrowers to reestablish payment patterns and reduce defaults
• Negotiate and restructure repayment plans in alignment with investor and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance collection strategies and ensure compliance

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of investor and insurer guidelines preferred
• Previous experience in collections and default loan servicing preferred
• Experience with call center systems and telephony platforms advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry skills required
