Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Mortgage Underwriter IV DE will conduct thorough analyses of loan files to ensure compliance with company and investor guidelines while maintaining productivity standards and assisting in training new underwriters.
Key responsibilities
- Complete a comprehensive analysis of loan files to determine compliance with guidelines
- Underwrite residential mortgage loans and ensure investment quality loan products
- Maintain productivity levels with a goal of three underwriting decisions per day and communicate decisions effectively
Required qualifications
- Minimum three years of mortgage underwriting experience with knowledge of guidelines
- Experience with private investor and private mortgage insurance guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Technologically proficient with strong organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
