Moving Allocation Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating and assigning domestic household goods moves, the full-time Moving Allocation Specialist will manage service provider relationships, ensure accurate data management, and oversee operational performance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Accept and assign domestic and international move orders to appropriate service providers while ensuring policy compliance
• Maintain detailed records and provide regular updates on performance metrics to internal stakeholders and service providers
• Act as the primary liaison between relocation counselors and van line service providers, addressing inquiries and managing exceptions

Required qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent, with at least two years of advanced education in a business field
• Associates degree or business diploma required, or equivalent experience in the moving/relocation industry
• Operational knowledge of household goods moving and familiarity with shipping documents
• Proficient in PC skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, and Excel, with strong data entry capabilities
• Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively as part of a team
