Multi-State Licensed Claims Consultant

Job Summary

Managing complex medical professional liability claims remotely, the full-time Senior Claims Consultant will independently handle investigations, evaluations, and resolutions while providing proactive service to Members and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage complex medical professional liability claims from investigation through resolution
• Provide proactive personalized Member service through regular communications and meetings at key claim stages
• Develop and execute proactive claim strategies while collaborating with internal departments and external partners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Multi-state adjuster's licenses preferred or ability to procure as requested
• Five plus years of experience in professional medical liability claims
• Demonstrated ability to independently assess complex claims and manage competing priorities
• Strong technical ability to work with Microsoft Office, ShareFile, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
