Working remotely on a full-time basis, a Multi-State Licensed Oncology Nurse will perform pre-service clinical coverage reviews for outpatient services, ensuring compliance with medical guidelines and benefit determinations while managing cases across various insurance plans.
Key responsibilities
- Determine appropriate team assignments for case reviews based on insurance type
- Review and interpret clinical records to validate medical necessity and identify missing information
- Make determinations regarding service approvals or denials following established protocols
Required qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
- Ability to obtain licensure in multiple states as required
- 2+ years of experience in Radiation Oncology as a Nurse
- Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and navigating a Windows environment
