Multi-State Licensed Registered Nurse

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, a Multi-State Licensed Registered Nurse will provide telephonic clinical assessments, health education, and utilization management services to diverse patient populations while collaborating with a nationwide team of RNs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments using telecommunications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
• Identify patient care needs and provide appropriate health care referrals and education
• Adhere to nursing standards and company policies while processing calls based on quality management guidelines

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Multi-State RN licensure in a compact state
• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred
• At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, with preferred experience in ER, adult and pediatric care, or acute settings
• Ability to work evenings and at least two weekend days every two weeks
• Experience with telephone triage and understanding of health benefit plans is a plus
