Multi-State Licensed Registered Nurse

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time Multi-State Licensed Registered Nurse will provide telephonic clinical assessments, health education, and utilization management services while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and triage using telecommunications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
• Identify patient care needs and make recommendations for care based on clinical knowledge and nursing standards
• Ensure compliance with quality management guidelines and performance metrics while maintaining regular attendance

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN licensure in a compact state with the ability to maintain a multi-state license
• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred
• At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, with preference for experience in ER, adult and pediatric care, or acute settings
• Ability to work evenings and at least two weekend days every two weeks
• Experience in telephone triage and understanding of health benefit plans is a plus
