Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare technology company, the full-time Multi-State Licensed Staff Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, provide proactive patient counseling, and collaborate with prescribers in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Conduct proactive patient counseling calls and document all interactions in the pharmacy management system
- Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and ensure timely medication dispensing
Required qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist License in good standing in multiple specified states
- Ability to obtain Idaho Pharmacist License prior to start date
- Strong command of the English language; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with attention to detail
