Job Summary
To support an urgent care telehealth program, the part-time hourly Multi-State Licensed Supervising Physician will supervise at least five Nurse Practitioners, conduct patient evaluations via video and phone, and provide urgent care treatment, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a supervising physician for at least five Nurse Practitioners, including performing quarterly chart reviews and virtual meetings
- Conduct synchronous video and phone evaluations, along with asynchronous communication with patients
- Provide urgent care treatment for various conditions, ensuring inclusivity and evidence-based care
Required qualifications
- Actively licensed as MD or DO in good standing in five states, including CA and at least three from PA, AL, GA, IN, MO, MS, SC, or TN
- Board certified and in possession of a valid DEA certification
- At least two years of post-graduate independent practice experience
- Certification in Family or Emergency Medicine
- Experience in telemedicine or virtual care is strongly preferred
