Multi-State Licensed Triage Nurse
Job Summary
To support a dedicated team providing after-hours care, the full-time Multi-State Licensed Triage Nurse will assess patient needs over the phone, guide care decisions, and ensure safe treatment while working remotely with evening and weekend availability required.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient symptoms and determine urgency
- Provide clinical advice and direct care based on established protocols
- Communicate with physicians, insurers, and care teams to coordinate follow-up
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- 1+ year of experience in triage nursing, ER, physician office, or medical call center preferred
- Active RN license in one of the following states: PA, WV, NY, MD, or OH
- Current BLS or CPR certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to provide safe, accurate advice
